He loves working with his Heritage team, educating clients and of course helping bring loving care to his patients. Dr. Seth especially likes dentistry, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, laparoscopic surgery and imaging. In his free time, Dr. Seth enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, music, and following sports.
Dr. Daniel Oberschlake, DVM

He has been on staff at Heritage Animal Hospital, Ltd. since 1978. Dr. Dan specializes in dentistry, senior care medicine, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery. He has been on staff at Heritage Animal Hospital, Ltd. since 2000. Dr. Trisha Ewing, DVM
Dr. Trisha Ewing is a 2004 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing in the Fox Valley since then, and joined Heritage Animal Hospital in 2017. Dr. Ewing enjoys all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine and looks forward to helping you keep your pets healthy. Outside of work, she shares her life with her husband, three daughters, two dogs, two cats, two goats, a horse and several chickens. She enjoys camping, volleyball and walking with her dogs and family.
Dr. Jennifer Schmidt, DVM
Dr. Schmidt graduated from UW-Madison in 2011. She began her career in the St. Louis area and became a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan (don’t worry – she never gave up on the Packers). She moved back to her home state in 2017 and joined HAH in 2021.
Dr. Schmidt and her husband have two adorable daughters, one grandma cat named Clover, a bunny named Cool Ranch, and a 3 legged Boston terrier named Pepper Debra. Clover is a lap cat with dog tendencies who greets her owners at the door, plays fetch, and will come when called (except if the children are near because…safety). Her interests include counter surfing, dietary indiscretion, and sleeping. Debra is the sweetest girl and adores the tiny humans but is so anxious she can’t walk on wood floors without her doggy crocs and gives Dr. Schmidt a thorough understanding of what it means to be an owner of a dog with allergies.
Outside of work, Dr. Schmidt enjoys spending time (ideally outside if it’s not cold) with her family and pets, as well as running and biking. She’s also never been known to turn down good bourbon or a barrel-aged stout.

Lyric, Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Hey! I’m Lyric, a receptionist and technician assistant primarily at our Hortonville clinic. You have probably talked to me on the phone or have seen me at the front desk hanging out with our clinic cat Dude. My favorite thing about my job is how rewarding it can be. There’s no greater feeling than taking part in saving an animals life. Whether it’s as small as talking with you guys on the phone and getting your pet in for an appointment as soon as possible or rescuing a stray kitten that was brought in without a home and providing her a lifelong home. In my free time, I’m a happy mom of two kittens, Chai and Rupee, and one Guinea pig, Zion. If I’m not snuggling my fur babies, I’m outdoors with my boyfriend Colin. In the winter, we like to snowboard and in the summer we play on a co-ed soccer team. I hope to see you and your fur babies at the clinic sometime soon! (My picture is of the day I rescued Chai)
