Services for every aspect of your pet’s life
Surgical Procedures:
We use radiowave technology in our surgical procedures where applicable. These high frequency radiowaves provide specific and delicate tissue interaction. This results in a focused cutting and coagulating effect, minimizing the amount of tissue destruction. Healing is rapid and pain is minimized with reduced tissue damage. Some examples of surgeries that we perform include: spays, neuters, dewclaw removal, declawing of cats, tumor removals, amputations and repair of the cranial cruciate ligament, among much more. Call for details and information on additional surgeries or visit our surgery page.
Anesthesia:
We utilize the safest available anesthetics which are administered and monitored by a Certified Veterinary Technician. We use state of the art monitoring equipment to watch the patient’s vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate and oxygen levels during all procedures. A Certified Veterinary Technician monitors your pet during surgery along with the help of trained assistants. For your pet’s safety, every patient receives a complete physical exam and pre-anesthetic blood work is recommended before a procedure to insure the pet is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia.
Dentistry & Digital Dental X-Ray:
Periodontal disease is the most frequently diagnosed health problem in pets. Anesthesia is necessary to allow a thorough mouth exam and dental cleaning. Each tooth can then be examined and cleaned individually and the type of treatment needed can be determined. If X-rays are needed, we have state of the art digital dental X-ray equipment that can show us what is happening inside the tooth and with the root below the gum line. This helps us determine if a tooth can be saved or if it should be extracted.

Radiology Services:
With our on-site digital X-ray equipment, images of higher quality can be immediately acquired and modified for optimal viewing. We also have the ability to instantly send the images of your pet to a specialist for review via the internet. In these cases, the radiologist will examine the images and send a report back to us in 3 or less hours. This additional information aids our doctors in diagnosing your pet’s condition or ailment.
Wellness Care:
Wellness care is the foundation of our practice. Dependent upon the age of your pet, they should have a thorough physical exam every 6 to 12 months. Laboratory analysis such as blood counts, serum chemistries, fecal and urine analysis are often indicated to detect potential health problems before your pet’s overall health is compromised. Regular wellness exams are an important opportunity for you to discuss your pet’s diet and behavior and to create a vaccine protocol specific to your pet’s life style.
Laboratory:
Our in-house laboratory allows us to run necessary tests on your pet’s health condition so that we can respond quickly to your pet’s needs. These tests may include urgent care results, pre-surgical testing, and routine wellness panels. In addition, we utilize outside laboratories such as Marshfield and Idexx Labs for specialized testing needs. These laboratories give us direct access to advice from clinical pathologists and other specialists.
Therapy Laser:
You want your pet to have the best quality of life and laser therapy can help achieve that goal. Conditions that can be improved using laser therapy include arthritis, acute and chronic pain, back injuries, sprains and strains, inflammation and wound healing. Your pet will feel no discomfort during the treatment and most treated pets feel better in 12 to 24 hours following treatment. Often, pain medications can be reduced or eliminated after laser therapy treatments. This is a non-surgical treatment that is extremely safe and is a cold laser, meaning no heat is involved.
Flea/Tick/Heartworm Preventative Care:
We truly understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate through all of the various products for parasite control. Our doctors meet at least twice annually to evaluate current and new products that are being introduced. Safety, effectiveness, ease of administration, and cost are all factors we take into consideration. In addition, rebate programs are often negotiated by some pharmaceutical companies. In general, we are extremely competitive and often less costly than reputable on-line pharmacies. For your convenience, we also maintain our own on-line pharmacy which can be accessed from the Pharmacy page of our website. We work hard to maintain your trust when it comes to selecting the correct product for your flea, tick, and heartworm prevention needs.
Euthanasia & Cremation Services:
We know that your pet has become a member of your family and we realize that end of life care is difficult and heart wrenching. For our pets, end of life care often involves humane euthanasia. To better prepare you and your family, we encourage you to speak to one of our Doctors or caring staff members to discuss any concerns you may have before an urgent situation arises.
