Dan Oberschlake

Dan Oberschlake DVM, a native of Ohio is a 1976 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine.  After graduation he did a one year internship on staff at the University of Minnesota Veterinary School.

Dr. Oberschlake came to Heritage Animal Hospital, Ltd. in 1978.  He has special interests in Dentistry, Senior Care Medicine, Dermatology and Soft Tissue Surgery.  Dr. Oberschlake has been certified by the American Embryo Transfer Society and International Canine Genetics in the area of Reproduction.

Dr. Oberschlake and his wife Ann, an elementary art teacher, have four children.  For relaxation he enjoys golf, singing in the church choir, reading history books, and watching OSU sports.


Vicki Klemp

Dr. Vicki Klemp is a 1996 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and has been employed at Heritage Animal hospital, Ltd. since 1999. She developed her love for animals at a very young age while growing up on a dairy farm near Clintonville, Wisconsin.

Dr . Klemp enjoys all of the variety and challenges of small animal medicine and surgery. She and her husband, Dan, have three children. Her hobbies include biking, playing piano, and walking her dogs.


James Pape

Dr. Pape is a 1998 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison. Dr. Pape joined Heritage Animal Hospital in 2000 after 2 years of practice in Madison. His areas of interest include dentistry and surgery. He is responsible for performing repair of cruciate ligament injuries using an extacapsular technique.

Outside of practice he enjoys spending as much time in the outdoors as possible. He is an active hunter, fisherman and enjoys running. He is married and has one son.


Jill Duch

Dr. Duch is a 2002 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She started at Heritage Animal Hospital in the fall of that year. Dr. Duch is most interested in the internal medicine aspect of veterinary medicine. She focuses on both the client and patient throughout the process of diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Dr. Duch lives on the family commune with a menagerie of beef cattle, chickens, pigs, dogs, cats, rabbits, and hermit crabs.
